Renown Rewards and How to Get Renown Quickly

You can receive donations in the Patron's Whisper by increasing your renown rating in Final Fantasy 16 (FF16). Read on to learn the list of renown rewards, how to get renown quickly, how to receive items from patrons, and what you can do in the Patron's Whisper.

Complete Quests

Some quests raise your renown after finishing them, so it's recommended to complete side quests when you can!

Slay Marks from the Hunt Board

You can increase your renown rating by hunting notorious marks from the Hunt Board.

These marks are fearsome enemies found throughout Valisthea, and when you slay them, you'll be able to claim the rewards from the Hunt Board. These rewards include renown points to increase your rating.

How to Obtain Items from Patrons

Receive Donations by Increasing Your Renown

Different people in Valisthea will donate crates of items to you once you have increased your renown rating enough, and you'll be able to claim these donations from Desiree in the Patron's Whisper.

Talk to Desiree and select the Patron's Whisper dialogue option to bring up the Renown screen. Choose the donation crate you want to claim, then hold the Claim button to open it and receive the items.

Rewards Include Materials and Ability Points

The donation crates contain materials, which you can use to craft and upgrade equipment, as well as ability points, which you can use to learn and upgrade skills, accessories to equip that give different effects, and orchestrion rolls to listen to! Keep increasing your renown rating so you can get extra rewards!

How to Unlock the Patron's Whisper

Located in Cid's Hideaway

Desiree and the Patron's Whisper can be unlocked after completing the subquest, Release, and after talking to Gav during The Gathering Storm main quest.

Receive Careful Whisper Trophy After Getting All Renown Rewards

Careful Whisper Silver Trophy
	Obtain all available items from your patrons.

Once you get 2850 Renown and obtain all the donations at the Patron's Whisper, you'll be rewarded with the Careful Whisper silver trophy.
