Some Cutscenes

FF16 - Rewatching Cutscenes

Some cutscenes cannot be rewatched in Stage Replay, like in the first part of the game where Clive is in his teen years. If you want to rewatch these scenes, we're afraid you'll have to start a new game for that.

Enhanced Gear in Final Fantasy Mode

There are some unique weapons and accessories that you can obtain from treasure chests, renown rewards, or side quests. Some upgrades in Final Fantasy Mode require two of the base item, which is only possible if you carry them over through New Game Plus. If you start Final Fantasy Mode without obtaining these unique accessories the first time, you will not be able to upgrade them in your second playthrough.

Make sure to replay locations to open all treasure chests, earn enough renown, and clear side quests before starting a New Game Plus.

Final Fantasy Mode Guide

Purchasing accessories from shops is recommended

You can purchase accessories from the shops multiple times in Final Fantasy Mode, so you can always obtain an extra one. However, the prices for these accessories is more expensive so it is recommended to purchase them on your first playthrough to save Gil. It's highly recommended to get all the farming accessories so that they can be upgraded later.

Crafting Material Drops from Notorious Marks

FF16 - Crafting Material Drops from Notorious Marks
Crafting materials dropped by the Notorious Marks can be missable if you accidentally sell these unique items to shops. Since you only get to fight Notorious Marks once, there's no way to get another without starting another playthrough. If this happens, you can reload an autosave or a manual save before you sold the material.

Merchant Items and Curiosities
