Severian is located in the marshlands, north of Sorrowise in the Grand Duchy of Rosaria. Players can proceed to this area quickly by fast traveling to the nearest Obelisk, Martha's Rest, then exit the town to the west and immediately take the northern path.

Watch Out for its Lunge Attack

An attack that Severian uses a lot is a lunge attack, which deals massive damage when it hits. Watch out for when it swings its sword back, since it will quickly lunge after.

Feel the timing of the attack and try to do a precision dodge and counter if you can to deal a good amount of damage.

Get Away From its Dome Attack, then Get Close for the Ring Attack After

A close-ranged attack that Severian uses is a two-part delayed explosion attack. First, it creates an energy dome around itself that deals damage after a short time, then it creates a ring of energy circles around it which also explodes moments after.

Get away from the dome, since you'll get damaged by it everywhere in its range. When the ring of energy circles appears, rush inside to avoid the explosions, then deal as much damage with your attacks and abilities.

Learn the Pattern of its Eradicate Attack

Severian's Eradicate special attack has this pattern: Severian readies the attack by spinning its hands, then spins with its swords for a few seconds while shooting multiple slow tiny energy bolts, then finally does a lunge attack.

Run away when it starts readying its attack so you can avoid the spinning attack, and the energy bolts should be easy to avoid since they move slowly. When it stops its spinning attack, it will quickly do the lunge attack after, so watch out!

Description
A particularly belligerent breed of echo has recently awakened amid the Fallen ruins near Martha's Rest. It is known to activate on the approach of any human, armed or unarmed, and sets about them with a burning jet that has already reduced much of the surrounding marshland to ash. This is one echo that the Cursebreakers would fain see forever silenced.
