Is FF16 Coming to PS4, PC, and XBOX?

Though it was launched as a PS5 exclusive title, Final Fantasy 16 made the multiplatform jump, launching on PC on September 17, 2024, more than a year since its PS5 launch.

Available on Xbox as of June 8, 2025

FF16 - Clive and Cid

Though Final Fantasy 16 launched on PC in September 2024, it took another 9 months for the game to launch on Xbox Series X|S on June 8, 2025.

Is Final Fantasy 16 (FF16) Coming to Xbox?

Not available on PS4

As a title with highly advanced graphics and performance requirements, the PS4 was deemed unsuitable to play Final Fantasy 16 and it did not launch on the platform.

Is FF16 a Timed Exclusive?

FF16 Was PS5 Exclusive Until September 2024

FF15 - PS5 Timed Exclusive

In the Revenge Trailer, we see that the game will be PS5 exclusive and won't be available on platforms for a limited time until December 31, 2023.

This is confirmed by the game producer, who stated that the game is a timed exclusive, but he cautioned that it would take longer than 6 months after release to launch on other platforms.

He was right! Final Fantasy 16 launched on PC after more than in September 2024, more than 14 months after the PS5 launch, giving PS5 players more than a year of exclusivity and time to enjoy the DLC packs that launched in the wake of the base game.
