Final Fantasy 16 (FF16) is the latest entry to the Final Fantasy Franchise and is released exclusively on the PlayStation 5! Here is a list of all the confirmed platforms that Final Fantasy 16 will be released on, and if FF16 will be released on the PS4 and PC in the future!

Is FF16 Coming to PS4, PC, and XBOX?

As it currently stands, Final Fantasy 16 is only slated to release on the PlayStation 5, as stated in the Awakening Trailer.

FF16 Not Available on XBOX and PS4

FF16 - Clive and Cid

Final Fantasy 16 has been clearly stated as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, and no news of the game being available on XBOX and PS4 has been released yet.

Of course, this may change in the future, but if players wish to play the game on release, the latest PlayStation console will be their only option.

High Possibility of Being Ported to PC

While it is stated that the game will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, the more recent installments were released as exclusives for the PlayStation of their era and then ported to PC after a few years.

The game producer, Naoki Yoshida, stated in a Japanese PlayStation Blog that while they haven't started working on it yet, they will indeed eventually work on the PC port, as expected by the fans.

Moreover, Final Fantasy 16's PC port will not be coming out in the next 6 months, as optimizing FF16 for the PS5 already costs a lot to bring the best experience to the players.

In the Revenge Trailer, we see that the game will be PS5 exclusive and won't be available on platforms for a limited time until December 31, 2023.

This is confirmed by the game producer, who stated that the game is a timed exclusive. He said the PC version will be coming but it will take much longer than 6 months after release.
