Sleipnir's offensive sword skills are easy to follow and predictable as each swing has a slow windup animation before striking you down. Study the timing of each swing, then press the Attack Button (Square) at the same time that he attacks you to parry him. After a successful parry, time slows down, allowing you to unleash your combos and abilities.
Take note that he'll usually teleport first before executing his sequence of attacks, so anticipate that and be ready to ward off his attacks once he appears in front of you.
Once you see a red shroud appear at Clive's feet, keep running around as it will explode after a brief amount of time. You'll know that it's about to detonate as soon as a glowing orb appears in the middle of it.
After getting Sleipnir's health down to 70%, he'll start wielding a more powerful sword known as Gungnir. He'll then begin hurling out aerial slashes. You can dodge through these to negate their damage and effects!
Avoid the exploding energy shrouds during the Dead Man's Bier skill by staying clear off of red marks that will appear in several places on the ground. This is followed by dark energy waves that will flow out of Sleipnir which you can simply jump over as they approach you to avoid getting damaged.
The Scar of Nibelung sees Sleipnir leap towards the air, then slam the ground, sending 5 vertical shockwaves all over the battle zone. You can run through the wide gaps in-between the shockwaves to avoid getting caught in this.
Creeping Darkness is an ability where he'll utilize all his offensive skills and use them in one combo.
He'll summon several orbs around you first which you can dodge through to avoid them. Followed by a dark energy beam that you can easily evade sideways. And finally, he'll teleport to you and attack you with consecutive sword attacks which you can precision dodge or parry then launch a counterattack at him.
