Description: Before Clive and Jill might claim their second Mothercystal, they must first secure passage to the distant Iron Kingdom—something Clive believes his long-lost uncle in Port Isolde might be able to provide them... assuming they can get there first.

How to Unlock

FINAL FANTASY 16 - Bloodlines Unlock

Bloodlines starts at Hawk's Cry Cliff in Rosaria Region, and becomes available after completing The Gathering Storm quest. You will spend more time traveling than fighting enemies on this quest, so it's better to unlock the Chocobo first before taking on this quest!

Make for Amber
Go north to reach Amber, a secluded village in Rosaria. You will see some Black Shields on the villagers once you arrive in the village.

Talk to Villagers
Talk to the villager to gather information and find out why the Black Shields are in the village.

You can find the first villager you can talk to at the intersection, while the other one is on the road in the middle of the village.

Head straight to where you've seen the Black Shields after talking to the first two villagers. Talk to the man sitting beside a house, and the villager's leader will appear to stop you.

He will then force you to leave the village as they're scared that something to them if you stay longer there.

Make for Port Isolde
Since you found nothing from the villagers, the only choice now is to head southwest and go to Port Isolde.

Follow the path through the mountains. You will encounter enemies wherever you go, but you can run past them and avoid combat if you want to!

Defeat the Black Shields
You'll eventually reach a bridge with a blood trail and meet several Black Shields in the area.

Defeat them all to reach the Auldhyl Docks, your second stop, before getting to Port Isolde.

Make for the Auldhyl Docks
Enter the docks after defeating all the Black Shields. However, you'll see that the Black Shields have massacred every villager there.

The only good thing about the horrible situation is Clive's uncle was not one of the villagers that got killed.

Continue your way to Port Isolde
Continue going southwest to Port Isolde to look for Clive's uncle. You will encounter a few monsters on the way, but you can ignore them and go straight to Port Isolde.
6b FINAL FANTASY 16 - Bloodlines - Port Isolde Inaccessible
Upon reaching Port Isolde, you'll find that it's impossible to enter through the entrance because of the commotion and the guards.

Clive and Jill decide to use the tunnel in the Lazarus District to avoid them. You can continue this on the following quest, Black Light Burns!
