On the Hall of Virtue, you can engage in a virtual battle and set multiple UI and parameters to test out your new weapons, abilities, and even combos to know their total damage output (which you can also set in the Hall of Virtue). Harpocrates Tomes-Final Fantasy 16

Harpocrates is the loresman of the Thousand Tomes, the library of information in the Hideaway. Interacting with him will make Clive recount his adventures to Harpocrates, who then unlocks and updates the relevant subjects in the Thousand Tomes.

The Thousand Tomes will expand the further you get into the game as well as when the number of information you gain from the game increases.

Unlock and Complete Sidequests

The Hideaway is also a place where you'll spend a lot of time with several NPCs and is the perfect ground to get new sidequests and complete them. You can navigate the world map from the Hideout to start tracking these sidequests one by one and earn rewards for completing them all!

Tracking sidequests and learning about all the accessible quests is possible in the Hideout through Alliant's Reports which can be found on the pub area of the hideout.

FF16 - The Orchestrion

The Orchestrion acts like a jukebox for the game, which can play music from orchestrion rolls that unlock while playing. You can also change the background music for Cid's Hideaway with the orchestrion.

Receive Renown Rewards from Patron's Whisper

FF16 - Desiree
The people of Valisthea will donate you items once you increase your renown, which you'll be able to view and claim at the Patron's Whisper. You'll be able to receive renown by hunting marks listed at the Hunt Board.

Hunt Bounties Via the Hunt Board

Aside from sidequests, there are monsters known as Notorious Marks that must be exterminated in the world of Valisthea. These monsters have their bounties listed on the Hunt Board and can be hunted to gain rewards and renown.

Renown points can be used on the Patron's Whisper to gain more rewards such as items and ability points!

See All Character Activity in the State of the Realm

The State of the Realm is Vivian the scholar's compilation of information, where she provides details of the activities and interactions of the characters of the game as the game progresses.

You'll be able to view comprehensive map diagrams of the characters during significant story events, allowing you to refresh your memory about the characters in case you need it.

During the Home, Sweet Home main quest, the player will have access to Clive's chambers. Items to be displayed are curiosities. You must collect 22 curiosities in total, to earn the For the Hoard trophy.

You'll also find a Reading Table in Clive's chambers. These can sometimes give side quests, and opening 10 letters rewards the The Pen is Mightier trophy.

Order Drinks at the Tub & Crown

FF16 - The Tub and Crown

After the main quest Home, Sweet Home, the Tub & Crown will be available to the player. Here, you can order drinks from Maeve for yourself or for the hall.

Although nothing special happens if you "buy a round for the hall", you can still earn the Eureka trophy by spending 36,000 gil at the establishment.
