Putrescent Knight Weakness and Location

How to Reach the Putrescent Knight

1
From the Castle Front site of grace, ride southeast past the small encampment until you see soldiers fighting a bunch of Bloodfiends. Take the left path on this fork and loop around the swamp into a tunnel where you'll find the Ellac River Cave site of grace.

Turn left on the river and follow its direction to the Ellac River Downstream. Further to the south is an open field with a Furnace Golem. Stay on the right side while avoiding the Furnace Golem's attacks to find a slightly hidden path to the Cerulean Coast.
2
Pass through the Cerulean Coast, either ignoring or fighting the Ghostflame Dragon that swoops down, and make for the large pit on the southwest peninsula. Jump down from the west side of the pit and use the rock platforms to reach The Fissure site of grace.
3
From the Stone Coffin Fissure site of grace, walk south and jump down the coffin on your left. Go to the east end of the coffin and jump over to another path that leads southeast.
4
At the end of this path is a platform that will suddenly crumble and take you to the bottom. If this isn't your first time here, you can simply jump down and you will land unscathed.
5
Head east past the Bloodfiend area to reach the Fissure Cross site of grace.
6
Walk north and you will find some more coffins. Walk along the coffin to your left and hop onto the platform to your right just before the next coffin.
7
A stone worm enemy will snipe you as you head north, so make your way to it quick and take it out before landing on another coffin below.
8
Two stone worm enemies will fire lasers at you this time, try to dodge their attacks as you reach for the one below then take it out.

You can reach the stone worm above by taking the path to the right to another coffin.
9
Walk towards the north end of the coffin, jump to the coffin below with the exploding stone worms, and down again to the Fissure Waypoint site of grace.
10
Head northeast and go up the platform where the skeleton enemies are coming from. You should see a tunnel with a large slime enemy ahead.
11
Enter the tunnel and exit to the other side. Be careful of the falling slimes as you exit as one of them might latch on you.
12
A misbegotten warrior can be found here if you haven't beaten it yet. Once it's taken care of, hop over the platform on your right and onto another on your left to reach the coffin ahead. Rest at the Fissure Depths site of grace and prepare for the boss fight.
13
Climb up the stairs that leads south and make for the other end of the coffin.
14
Jump down from the horned stone head for a long plunge into the Putrescent Knight boss arena.
