Tempest Mephis Location and How to Get to It
Qichi Village
Tempest Mephis can be found near Qichi Village in the Central Plains. The boss is underground, so you'll need to drop down a nearby hole near the Resonance Nexus to enter its arena.
You can easily find the hole by looking for the wind blowing upward. It's located midway between its map market and the Qichi Village fast travel point.
Tactical Hologram is South of Settle Range
Upon reaching Union Level 27, you can fight a Tactical Hologram of Tempest Mephis, located south of Settle Range. These are challenging encounters, so be prepared when facing them.

Use Parries and Counterattacks
When facing the Tempest Mephis, avoid spamming attacks. Instead, look to use parries and counterattacks to quickly get rid of its Vibration Strength and deal massive amounts of damage.
With the exception of its laser beam that it uses if you stray too far, all of its attacks can be parried.

Use Invincibility Frames to Avoid Attacks
Don't hesitate to take advantage of the invincibility frames provided by your Resonance Liberation and Echoes to avoid attacks, especially if your characters are low on health.
Resistant to Electro
The Tempest Mephis resists Electro DMG. Electro DPS characters like Calcharo deal reduced damage so may take slightly longer to finish off this boss, so consider using another DPS character.
