How to Use Antspur Rapier

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Antspur Rapier is a Thrusting Sword that equally scales with both attributes but it is primarily a Dexterity weapon. It is a good weapon for builds that are focused on causing status ailments such as Hemorrhage, Frost, and Poison.

Has a Passive Scarlet Rot Buildup

The weapon's passive is strong against most enemies and can be applied quickly with its fast attacks. Since the weapon can inflict Scarlet Rot often, the talisman Kindred of Rot's Exultation is a good pairing for this sword and will increase your physical attack damage by 20% every time the debuff takes effect.

Strong PvP Weapon

This is a very effective weapon to use for PvP because of its strong Scarlet Rot passive and fast physical attacks. Additional debuffs can be applied by changing the weapon's affinity giving you the option to customize the weapon according to your build.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and the Ash of War Seppuku paired with the talisman Lord of Blood's Exultation is good for a Rot-Bleed build that can apply both status effects with increased physical attack damage.

The weapon's damage can be increased with the following talismans that enhance your attack power with successive attacks such as Millicent's Prosthesis, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and Winged Sword Insignia.
