Give the Ward Sensors to Richter or Zotov
After getting the Ward Sensors from Squint as part of A Needle in a Haystack main story, you have the option to give it to Richter or Captain Zotov.
Regardless of your choice, both men will reward you with a free Optician Gas Mask and a Debut Suit when you give the Ward Sensors to either one of them.

An Optician Gas Mask may be bought from the Trader Hamster at Zalissya in the Lesser Zone region. Reaching Zalissya is part of the A Tough Awakening main mission and is one of the earliest settlements you can find at the start of the game.

You can purchase Optician Gas Mask from Birch for 10500 Coupons at Rostok.
