- Recommended for use after staggering an enemy or when Clive's HP is low. Duration is determined by the number of gauges full at time of execution. - Can be used at any time regardless of Clive's recovery status. - Cannot be KO'd while semi-primed, even if HP is lowered to 0. |

Limit Break is unlocked by gaining the power of Ifrit during the quest, The Meaning of Life. You may need to complete or encounter a certain story section in order to unlock this ability.
The Meaning of Life Walkthrough
Limit Break gives Clive a huge damage boost on all of his attacks. It is best used on a staggered enemy as the damage multiplier will ramp up his damage output even more.
Limit Break also slowly heals Clive while it is active. Use it more frequently when you're low on health, especially when out of potions.

Clive can learn and upgrade Abilities by spending Ability Points (AP) obtained through enemy combat and through completion of Main Quests, Side Quests, or even Hunt Board Quests.
