This skill was buffed in Ver 1.04, increasing its cast speed and adding a window to roll during the attack to cancel the animation.

How to Use The Queen's Black Flame

Good AoE

When activated the player will do a sweeping downward horizontal slash which provides a good area of effect. Following up with a second input will do another horizontal slash but this time going upwards.

These sweeping attacks cover most of the player's front, but the second slash can also reaches the player's back as it readies the sword from behind giving it a good coverage.

Provides High Poise

The skill is not easily cancelled during activation as it provides high Poise when it starts. This gives you the chance to wipe a group of enemies in one go!

Use It During a Boss’s Vulnerable Attack

Since most boss super moves are often slow, this leaves an opening for the player to deal with a strong attack or a skill move. Take advantage of this chance with the Queen's Black Flame whenever you see a boss starting to wind up for his super move. With the skill's high poise your skill will not be canceled but you can still take damage, so keep that in mind!

Black Flames Continues To Deplete HP

When an enemy is inflicted with the black flame this will continue to deplete their HP for a while until the effect wears off. Wait for the effect to wear off before using another round of this skill to maximize its effect.

Unique to Godslayer's Greatsword

This skill is unique only to the Godslayer's Greatsword. You will need to defeat the Godskin Apostle, an optional boss, guarding the chest at the basement of the Divine Tower of Caelid.
