Mission Description
In the Zone. a distress call is a sign of complete desperation. This Jumper at the waste processing station must be in dire straits if he's broadcasting openly, risking being overheard by bandits or worse. I can't let my guard down, though — a call for help like this could easily be a trap.

This side mission is required to progress the main mission Hot on the Trail. The dead body on top of the pipes won't appear if you don't accept the side mission first.

Shift Change Walkthrough

Find shift supervisor North

Enter through the warehouse door and climb all the way to the top. There will be lots of enemy encounters inside. This warehouse door would be locked before accepting the Shift Change side quest inside the Waste Processing Station.

Take the key from North on the WPS roof

Once you find North's dead body on the pipes, get to the dead body on the pipes and loot the key. Looting the key will unlock the next objective: to go undergound.

Go down to the underground level of the station

The path to the underground level is a series of ladders that leads you to an area full of anomalies. When you resurface at the end of the underground level, there will be enemies so be on guard and try to take them out as stealthy as possible. Continue exploring the area to learn what happened.

Kill the Controller

Upon exploring the area, you discover that a Controller has been manipulating the soldiers into paranoia resulting in them killing each other. You will know that you are in the area where the Controller is because your screen will begin fuzzing.

Find the Monolith stash (code 0505)

You may have found the stash on your own while you explore, but the code won't be transmitted to you until you kill the Controller. While this is an optional objective, it is still recommended to complete it because of the items you will gain inside the stash.

Get up to Jumper and Bluish

Once you've killed the controller, Bluish and Jumper will contact you and tell you that you can meet them back on the surface.

Kill Hog and his men

Upon reaching the surface you will come face to face with Hog. He's under orders to kill any witnesses, kill him with the help of Jumper and Bluish.

Talk to Jumper

Once Hog and his men are dead, talk to Jumper and he will be in disbelief in the “help” he was promised by Dubny. Your mission concludes after your conversation with Jumper.
