How to Beat White Horn (Raider Clone)

Boss Fight Level for White Horn

Boss Fight Level Level 12

Once the boss fight starts during Raider's Remembrance Quest, you will automatically start the fight at Level 12 and are locked on this level until the fight ends.

Dodge His Retaliate Attack

As Raider's carbon copy, White Horn also has the Retaliate skill. He'll only use it once it's charged when he's absorbed enough damage, signaled by a visual cue of white smoke rising from him. His next move when he is charged will be Retaliate.

Given his version is as devastating as your own, don't try to hit him during the animation. Instead, back away immediately to avoid the attack before re-engaging.

Hit Him With One Swing at a Time

White Horn will roll a lot, often leaving you with only a small one-hit window before he rolls again or counters with his weapons. Avoid trading damage with him since you'll want to save your Flasks for the more dangerous second phase.

Combat Tips for White Horn (Second Phase)

How to Beat White Horn (Ulcerated Tree Spirit)

Use Totem Stela When Available

By the time you reach the second phase, you should have enough charge for your Ultimate Art: Totem Stela. Unleash it immediately to deal a massive burst of damage, stagger the boss, and benefit from the buffed damage on your initial follow-up hits.

Use I-Frame Dodges For Its Attacks

Use your dodges invincibility frames to avoid the Ulcerated Tree Spirit's huge attacks perfectly. With well-timed dodges, you have a better opportunity to punish the boss while it is recovering.

Avoid the Grab Attack

The Tree Spirit White Horn has a dangerous grab attack capable of removing most of your HP if it connects. You'll know it's charging when you see electric sparks coming from its mouth and hear a unique sound effect.

Like its other attacks, use your dodge's I-frames to evade it. However, the grab has a slight delay after you get the visual and sound cues, so precise timing is crucial. Avoid spamming your rolls or dodging too early, as this will likely result in it landing.

Surge Sprint Forward to Dodge the Fire Breath

When it charges yellow fire from its mouth, simply sprint diagonally right towards it. This allows you to avoid the breath attack and land a hit before its next attack animation.

How to Unlock White Horn

Fought During Chapter 7 of Raider's Remembrance Quest

Hark the Murmuring of Waves

After defeating three different Nightlords as Raider, you can start Raider's final Remembrance quest by going to Chapter 7 of his Journal at the Roundtable Hold.

His Remembrance quests involve you fighting in a series of Arena Battles, with the White Horn being your final opponent.
