Memory Fragment

Memory Fragments are your main progression mechanic for each Nightfarer's Remembrances in Elden Ring Nightreign. Learn how to get Memory Fragments and progress each character's storyline.

Obtained Randomly as Expedition Rewards

Memory Fragment

Memory Fragments are often found after completing expedition runs. Defeating a Nightlord also seems to increase the chance of obtaining Memory Fragments, so try to progress the current expedition as much as you can.

What to Do on Days 1 and 2

Obtain Memory Fragment For Your Current Nightfarer

Generally, you can obtain Memory Fragments for the Nightfarer you are currently playing. If you want to progress the other Nightfarer's Remembrances, you'll usually need to play as them during your expeditions in Limveld.

You can also obtain Memory Fragments by defeating Nightlords. Some Nightfarers require you to beat multiple different Night Lords while some Nightfarers require you to defeat specific ones and this varies from class to class.

Progress Remembrance Quests

Ironeye Remembrance 8

Memory Fragments are used to unlock chapters in the journal for each of the Nightfarer's Remembrances. You can also do Remembrance quests on certain chapters from each Nightfarer to progress their storyline and obtain unique class-specific relics and remembrance skins.
