Unlock Duchess
In Elden Ring Nightreign, Duchess and Revenant are the only two characters that need to be unlocked. Unlocking Duchess will directly lead to unlocking Revenant. You can unlock Duchess by showing an Old Pocketwatch to the Hooded Figure.
Buy a Besmirched Frame
After unlocking Duchess, players can find the Besmirched Frame being sold by Small Jar Bazaar in the Roundtable Hold for 1,500 Murk. Take note that this item will only be available upon unlocking Duchess.
Follow the Exclamation Mark
Once you buy a Besmirched Frame, a yellow exclamation mark will appear on the map of the Roundtable Hold. Follow its direction toward north-east until you see a ghost girl standing in the corner.
Interact with the Phantom
Upon interacting with the girl, Touch Phantom? will appear. Choose yes to continue to the next step.
Fight and Defeat the Night Idol
After selecting to touch the phantom, you will be transported to Limveld, where you need to find the Revenant. She will be in the lower left structure. Defeat the Night Idol in a boss fight to get the Revenant as a Nightfarer.
Defeat the Spectral Summons First
We recommend defeating the spectral Page, Robed Skeleton, and Giant Skeleton in that order before attacking the Night Idol to lessen the possibility of getting mobbed by all four enemies.
We also recommend you stay close to the Night Idol when attacking her since you can easily interrupt her spells due to her low poise. Sticking close to her also lessens the risk of getting hit by her wide-range miracles.
