What Does Dexterity Do?

Lets You Use Fast Hitting Weapons

Fast hitting weapons usually scale with dexterity. While you may still use a low dexterity character to wield a dexterity weapon, your damage output will be low and ineffective.

Dexterity boosts the damage output of weapons that scale with dexterity. These include Daggers, Katanas, Curved Swords, Twinblades, and Whips, among all others.

Remember to use weapons that scale with your character's highest stat in order to deal the maximum amount of damage possible.

Increased Through Leveling Up

Leveling up in Elden Ring Nightreign automatically increases all your stats, including Dexterity. How much a certain stat increases will depend on your character's stat scaling.

Relics can provide stat boosts for the player. Keep in mind that Relics are randomly obtained and you will need to farm Relics in order to get your deisred stat boost.

The class with the highest Dexterity scaling in the game is the Executor. This allows him to maximize his damage output with Dexterity scaling weapons, especially with Katanas as the Executor has a unique moveset for that specific weapon type.
