Recommended Level for Leonine Misbegotten
| Recommended Level | Level 2 or Level 6 |

We recommend fighting Leonine Misbegotten at Level 2 for the Camp variant or Level 6 for the Field Boss and Castle variants with red eyes. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels. However, you have a higher chance of getting one-shot.
Use Heavy Attacks to Stagger the Boss
The Leonine Misbegotten has lower poise compared to other bosses, and is much easier to interrupt its animations when using Heavy Attacks from even lighter weapons like Straight Swords. It’s also highly susceptible to stagger from heavy-hitting Spells.
If you are already using a heavy weapon like Colossal Swords or Great Hammers, then just the light attack combos can effectively stunlock the boss for an easy kill.
Use Your Ultimate to Clear the Mobs
The camp variants of the Leonine Misbegotten are always accompanied by a group of mobs positioned directly in front of it. These can be efficiently cleared with a single Ultimate Art that has a good area-of-effect.
This approach not only deals damage to the boss but, more importantly, easily eliminates the surrounding enemies that could otherwise disrupt the fight and slow down your clear time.
