We recommend fighting Ancient Hero of Zamor at Level 6 for a standard difficulty experience. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels.
Watch Out for Fast Melee Attacks
Ancient Hero of Zamor is a formidable swordfighter that moves quick and performs fast melee attacks. This can catch players off guard, especially melee fighters. When the boss jumps toward its target and floats for a while, immediately dodge sideways or even toward it to avoid getting hit by its spinning slash at the end of its trajectory.
If Ancient Hero of Zamor performs a quick Leaping Slash towards the target, keep a safe distance and wait after three slashes before making your counter move.
The Boss Deals Frostbite in Phase 2
Once Ancient Hero of Zamor's HP is halved, its sword gets imbued with Frostbite and will start to perform ice attacks. One of its moves is that it blows an avalanche that inflicts Frostbite to anyone caught in it. Once you see the boss kneel, dodge sideways as far as your can to avoid getting hit in the cone-shaped AoE.
Ancient Hero of Zamor can also perform an icy whirlwind that also damages and inflicts Frostbite. Back away and maintain distance when you see the boss stand still then kneel.
Ranged Users Can Shoot the Boss from Afar
While Ancient Hero of Zamor can be challenging to melee fighters, ranged users like Ironeye and Recluse may find the boss a bit more manageable. The melee fighter can distract and fight Ancient Hero of Zamor up front while ranged allies can shoot the boss from afar.

Fought as a Field Boss
Ancient Hero of Zamor appears as a World Boss that you can find on Expeditions around Limveld. You may also be able to find Ancient Hero of Zamor underneath Castles or Great Churches.
