New Nightfarers: Scholar and Undertaker

Two new Nightfarers are available with the DLC. You can unlock both of them after beating Tricephalos for the first time. Like the base game characters, these Nightfarers have their own specialties and Remembrances.

There are two new expeditions added in The Forsaken Hollows DLC. Balancers is unlocked after unlocking the new Nightfarers and defeating two different bosses (including Tricephalos). The Dreglord can be faced after beating the Balancers.

There are also several new Day 1 and Day 2 bosses you can face while doing the DLC.

New Shifting Earth: The Great Hollows

The Great Hollows

The Great Hollows is the new Shifting Earth introduced with the DLC. It greatly transforms the map and has debilitating effects like halving your maximum HP in certain areas and generally stronger enemies.

The Forsaken Hollows DLC introduces 12 new skins, 6 skins each for the 2 new Nightfarers: Undertaker and Scholar. You can unlock the first set of skins by beating the Balancers while the Dark Souls-themed skins are locked behind a Dreglord kill.

New unique relics are available and can be obtained from the new character remembrances and from defeating the new Expedition Bosses.

New Vessels

All Nightfarers gain new Decrepit and Forgotten vessels that give more options for slotting in Relics. Forgotten vessels are notable for having a white slot for the Deep of Night Mode.

A new Scadutree Grail, which offers all red relic slots is also available after defeating Dreglord.

New Weapons

We've only confirmed two new weapons are available with The Forsaken Hollows on release. These are the default weapons for the Scholar and Undertaker, the Scholar's Thrusting Sword and Undertaker's Hammer.

The DLC features several returning bosses from Shadow of the Erdtree. Their movesets remain similar to the originals, though they have been toned down to suit the game’s pacing. Despite these adjustments, they retain their core identity.
