How to Change Weapons

Weapon variety is one of Elden Ring Nightreign's strongest aspects. Read on to see a guide on how to change your weapons and weapon stance!

How To Change Weapons

Access the Equipment Menu

  1. Press start on your controller, or escape on your keyboard.
  2. Go to the Equipment menu.
  3. Once you click on Equipment, all available weapons can be seen.
  4. Pick your chosen weapon.

Players can change their weapons even when mid combat. This mechanic applies to other pieces of equipment such as shields and armor.

How to Upgrade Equipment

Use the D-pad

Pressing the right or left D-pad cycles your equipped weapon based on your current equipment list. Players may have 3 weapons on each hand, and is switched by pressing the corresponding hand direction.

How to Switch Weapon Stance

Use Guard and Event Action Inputs

By following the inputs above, you may toggle between one-handing or two-handing a weapon, depending on your preference and character playstyle.
