There is no option to pause the game in Elden Ring Nightrein in both multiplayer and solo play. Learn about why you cannot pause in the game here and where you can take a break to make preparations instead.

There is No Pause Option

Roundtable Hold

Unfortunately, there is currently no known way to pause the game, both in online, offline, in multiplayer and solo play. This is a restriction possibly tied to the game being online or multiplayer-oriented.

Your best bet for a break time is in the Roundtable Hold or at the Main Title Menu. You can leave the game on by itself in the Roundtable Hold. Before going out and committing to an Expedition, make sure that you have made all of the necessary preparations in this area.
