We recommend fighting Demi-Human Queen at level 5 for a standard difficulty experience. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels.
Defeat the Demi-Human Swordmaster First
While it's the more aggressive of the two bosses, we recommend focusing on defeating the Demi-Human Swordmaster first. Despite its fast and damaging attacks, it has very low poise which means its easy to stunlock out of its combos.
This coupled with its low HP makes it easy to mob and quickly defeat with repeated attacks so you can focus on the Demi-Human Queen.
Attack the Swordmaster after its Slam Attack
The Demi-Human Swordmaster's combos always ends with a noticeable pause at the end.
The Swordmaster's jumping slam attack, in particular, leaves it prone for a few seconds. Use this to your advantage by first baiting and dodging its attacks, and then aggressively attacking him at the end its combo.
Keep Your Distance to Avoid its AOE Slash
When the Demi-Human is using slow slashing combos, it's preparing to use its AOE slash attack. This attack deals rapid slash and frost damage, and can easily one-shot you even at full health.
Keep your distance when it starts using slow slashing combos and wait for the attack to finish as it leaves the Swordmaster prone and open to attacks.
Use Ultimate Arts to Defeat Summoned Enemies
Once the Demi-Human Swordmaster is defeated, the Demi-Human Queen will summon Small Demi-Humans that, while weak, will constantly mob and harass your team.
It's a good idea to use your characters Ultimate Arts to clear the battlefield of enemies so that you can focus on the Demi-Human Queen. The Guardian's Wings of Salvation and Recluse's Soulblood Song can easily clear the small Demi-Humans while also granting your team buffs.
Attack the Demi-Human Queen When it Goes Berserk
The Demi-Human Queen may sometimes throw away her staff and go berserk, resorting to pummeling the ground with her fists and wild slash attacks.
While more unpredictable, her melee combos also leave her open to counterattacks and she also has a noticeable delay before she does another melee combo. Take advantage of this opening to deal burst damage against the boss.
