The Ultimate Gauge is recharged by attacking enemies and being in combat. Read on to find out how to charge the Ultimate Gauge faster and reduce your Ultimate Art's cooldown.

How to Charge Your Ultimate Gauge

Attack Your Enemies

Unlike your character skills, the Ultimate Gauge doesn't have a natural cooldown. Instead, to recharge your Ultimate Art gauge, you need to attack enemies to fill the gauge back up.

Be aggressive when you can attack your enemies safely to recharge your Ultimate Art faster!

Recharges Slowly While in Combat

In Combat

In addition to the Ultimate Gauge filling up when attacking enemies, it also passively recharges as long as you're in combat. Attack enemies when you can to recharge your Ultimate Gauge, but prioritize your safety first.

Equip Relics to Increase Recharge Rate

Polished Burning Scene

Some Relics have passive effects that speed up your Ultimate Art's cooldown. The improvement is minimal, however, and is only noticeable on the passive recharge and not the on-hit recharge.

If you rely on your Nightfarer's Ultimate Art often, consider equipping Relics that reduce your Ultimate Art's cooldown.
