What Does Strength Do?

Lets You Use Heavy Weapons

Heavy weapons usually have a high strength scaling that will be effectively used by high strength characters. While you may still use a low strength character to wield a heavy weapon, your damage output will be low and ineffective.

All Stats Explained

Lets You Break Enemy Poise Quicker

Heavy weapons deal more poise damage by default. Since heavy weapons usually scale with strength, strength indirectly lets you break enemy poise quicker.

Strength boosts the damage output of weapons that scale with strength. These include Great Hammers, Colossal Swords, and Colossal Weapons, among all others.

Remember to use weapons that scale with your character's highest stat in order to deal the maximum amount of damage possible.

Increased Through Leveling Up

Leveling up in Elden Ring Nightreign automatically increases all your stats, including Strength. How much a certain stat increases will depend on your character's stat scaling.

How to Level Up Fast

Increased by Equipping Relics

Relics can provide stat boosts for the player. Keep in mind that Relics are randomly obtained and you will need to farm Relics in order to get your deisred stat boost.

The class with the highest Strength scaling in the game is the Raider. This allows him to maximize his damage output with Strength scaling weapons, especially with Greataxes, Great Hammers, and Colossal Weapons as the Raider has a unique moveset for those specific weapon types.
