Sovereign Sigils are obtained by defeating Everdark Sovereign Nightlords in Elden Ring Nightreign. Learn how to get Sovereign Sigils, how much you earn from Nightlords, and how to use them.
How to Get Sovereign Sigils
Defeat Everdark Sovereign Nightlords
Sovereign Sigils are earned only by successfully defeating Nightlords in an Everdark Sovereign expedition. The Nightlord in this type of expedtion is a significantly harder variant than its original.
Defeating your first Everdark Sovereign Nightlord grants 25 Sovereign Sigils, then fewer sigils are rewarded on subsequent runs.
Everdark Sovereign expeditions are unlocked by defeating the expeditions original Nightlord. For example, you will need to have defeated the Gaping Jaw first to have access to its Everdark Sovereign variant.

Sovereign Sigils are spent at the Collector Signboard, which is unlocked once you beat an Everdark Sovereign expedition along with its Nightlord. The signboard is found at the southwest of the Roundtable Hold and is accessible through the Shore or by jumping from the cliff south of the Garden.

Spend Sovereign Sigils on Vessels
Sovereign Sigils can be exchanged for various new Vessels (also known as Urns, Goblets, or Chalices) at the Collector Signboard (different inteory from one at the Small Jar Bazaar). Vessels are used to modify the type of Relic colors a a Character (Nightfarer) can equip at the Relic Rites altar.
Note that some of these Vessels are exclusive to specific Characters; make sure to check its corresponding icon before buying them.
How to Use Goblets and Chalices
Spend Sovereign Sigils on Relics
Sovereign Sigils can be exchanged for new Relics (also different inventory from the Small Jar Bazaar). Some of these Relics have Character-specific buffs while most of them have general-use passives.
Spend Sovereign Sigils on Skins
Sovereign Sigils can be exchanged for Character Skins at the Collector Signboard, serving as an alternate currency to Murk.
Directly Change Shifting Earth Events
At the Collector Signboard's menu, you can change the current Shifting Earth event through the 'Conjure a shift in the earth' option and picking a desired Shifting Earth event. You will have to pay one (1) Sovereign Sigil to change a Shifting Earth event.

Change Roundtable Hold Appearance
You can spend one (1) Sovereign Sigil for the "Alter Great Site of Grace" option at the Collector Signboard. This will restore the appearance of the Roundtable Hold to its previous illuminated state.
