We recommend fighting Guardian Golem at Level 4 for a standard difficulty experience. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels.
Maximize Damage Before It Gets Up
Before you approach the golem at the church, make sure all your allies are with you so you can maximize the damage you can deal before the Guardian Golem gets up. The golem takes a long time to stand up so you have a big window for doing damage.
Stick to the Legs and Go for Staggers
The Guardian Golem can be safely attacked from its legs, just watch out for the sweeping attacks it does with its weapon. The golem can also be staggered and takes a lot of damage from critical attacks, often one-shotting the boss.
How to Unlock Guardian Golem
Fought as a Field Boss at the Churches
You can usually find the Guardian Golem as a field boss at churches marked with the fire icon or at forts wielding a huge bow.
The golem you find at the church will be lying down on the ground at the center and will get up when you approach it. This one will be wielding a polearm instead of a bow.
