List of Contents

The default ending for most characters in Elden Ring Nightreign reveals that after defeating Heolster the Nightlord and obtaining the Primordial Nightlord's Rune, you get transported back to the Roundtable Hold where you will encounter a corpse at the end. Offering the Nightlord's Rune to it will destroy the rune and signify the end of the night.
Theoretically, the corpse found at the Roundtable Hold is meant to be the actual corpse of Heolster where he turns the Nightfarers into the light of grace and help them wander back to their timelines.

After offering and destroying the Nightlord's Rune, a scene will commence after the credits where the Lands Between is shown with a fully grown Erdtree. Meanwhile, the Erdtree's leaves bring life to a Giant outside of the Lands Between where it moves away and potentially end the night cycle.
In theory, the Giant is meant to be Heolster the Nightlord where he intentionally avoids tainting the Lands Between and starting another night cycle, hence setting up the events of Elden Ring and the rise of the Tarnished.

After defeating Heolster the Nightlord and obtaining the Primordial Nightlord's Rune as the Wylder, you will be transported back to the same area where you can interact with the defeated Nightlord and commence a new ending. Wylder then approaches the Nightlord, takes out the Silver Tear, and uses it on himself where he eventually takes the role of the Nightlord and continues the night cycle, much similar to linking the flame in Dark Souls 3.

Once you defeat Heolster the Nightlord and obtaining the Primordial Nightlord's Rune as Ironeye, you will get transported back to the Roundtable Hold where you can interact with the corpse and choose the Clench Dagger option. Doing so will make Ironeye cut the throat of the corpse and continue the night cycle.
Do note that this is notoriously the bad ending of Elden Ring Nightreign since the Nightfarers are actually Those Who Live in Death yet Ironeye chooses to continue the night cycle to keep on living.

To get the default ending, you first have to defeat Heolster the Nightlord using any Nightfarer. Doing so will reward you with the Primordial Nightlord's Rune where you will offer this to a corpse after returning to the Roundtable Hold.
Night Aspect (Heolstor the Nightlord) Weakness and How to Beat
In order to unlock the secret End Credit scene, you first have to complete the entire Remembrance questline of the character you are using. Once you have done that, you can start defeating Heolster the Nightlord to unlock the End Credit scene.

To get Wylder's ending, you first have to progress his Remembrance quest until you acquire the Silver Tear from Chapter 7. Before you head out on an expedition to defeat Heolster the Nightlord, make sure you have the Silver Tear equipped as this is required to commence the Wylder ending.
Wylder Remembrance Quest Guide and How to Unlock

In order to unlock Ironeye's ending, you first have to progress his Remembrance quest until you recieve the Edge of Order from Chapter 6. Once you have that, all you need to do is defeat Heolster the Nightlord as Ironeye and choose the Clench Dagger option to unlock his ending.
