Some item rewards can be carried over after an expedition in Elden Ring Nightreign. Learn what carries over and what you keep after an expedition by continuing below.

What Carries Over After an Expedition?

Only Relics and Murk Carry Over

End of Expedition Rewards

After an expedition, you will be rewarded with a random set of Relics along with Murk. The Relics can be equipped through Relic Rites while Murk can be spent on buying items through Small Jar Bazaar or character skins through the Dresser.

How to Get Murk

Increase Expedition Rewards by Defeating Nightlords

Nightlord Relic

The quality of Relics and the amount of Murk received will largely depend on how successful an expedition is. Successfully defeating a Nightlord will also reward you with a unique Relic tied to the Nightlord that you defeated.

Note that the unique Relic rewarded for beating a Nightlord only drops on the first clear and cannot be received as a reward again.

What to Do First on Days 1 and 2

Each Run Starts With the Character's Starter Equipment

Raider Starting Expedition

Since Relics and Murk are the only items that you keep after an expedition, you will start each run with your chosen character's starter equipment. This is by design and there is no way to carry over your previous weapons into your next run.
