Wylder's best weapons are Greatswords to enable the follow-up attack of his Claw Shot (with the Slate Whetstone Relic equipped) and for the STR and DEX scaling.
This also means that Halberds and Axes good alternatives too, if you don't mind missing out on the follow-up attack or if you're not using the Slate Whetstone.

Ironeye's best weapon is the Harp Bow for the quick attack speed. Barrage is excellent for shredding enemies in the early game.
Decent alternatives are the starting weapon Ironeye's Bow and the Horn Bow for additional elemental damage.

The best weapons for Duchess are Daggers, particularly the Reduvia and Bloodstained Dagger as their Blood Loss effects synergize well with her Restage skill.
Powerstance is vital for the Duchess' damage output, so always look to equip two Daggers.

The Revenant's best weapons are those that scale with FTH such as the Halo Scythe and the Coded Sword.
Her starting weapon Revenant's Cursed Claws is a good weapon until mid game as it deals both physical and magic damage.

The best weapons for the Executor are the Nagakiba and Rivers of Blood to take advantage of his high scaling with ARC.
Varre's Bouquet is recommended for enemies that are weak to striking weapons as it also inflicts Blood Loss. Another good secondary weapon is the Serpent Bow to revive your allies from range and inflict Poison on enemies.
