The Spectral Hawk is your primary way of getting around in Elden Ring Nightreign. It lets you glide across Limveld throughout the match. This guide covers what the Spectral Hawk is, how to control it, and how to summon it using Spectral Hawk Trees.
List of Contents

The Spectral Hawk is a large, magical bird with bright blue feathers which functions as a glider. It appears at the beginning of each match, carrying you and two other players into Limveld. Once in the sky, you can steer it and choose where to land.
You can also summon the Hawk again later during the match by interacting with glowing Spectral Hawk Trees found throughout the map.

In every match, you can choose to land as a group or individually. While you always drop to the same region, the map is different on every playthrough.
The building structures, terrain, as well as the weather simulation changes meaning that you have to pick your point of descent.

You can only summon the Spectral Hawk mid-game at Spectral Hawk Trees, special spots marked on the map for calling your Hawk. These are fixed locations. Look for the tree-like icon on the map.

Gliding with your Spectral Hawk gives you a clear view of landmarks, enemies, bosses, and loot. Use this to plan your path, spot threats, or avoid crowded areas.

Dive down from your Spectral Hawk to attack enemies or bosses from above. This lets you start combat on your terms or catch tough foes off guard.

Use Spectral Hawk Trees to get out of fights or change position fast. Knowing their locations on the map gives you more escape options.
