Recommended Level for Wormface

Recommended Level Level 5

We recommend fighting Wormface at level 5 for a standard difficulty experience. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels.

Keep Your Distance to Avoid Deathblight

The Wormface will periodically release a mist that will inflict the deathblight status effect which will instantly kill your character if you let it build up.

Keep your distance when fighting the boss, especially when it starts coughing, and only attack it when it's not releasing the deathblight mist.

Defeat Summoned Enemies to Get Rejuvinating Boluses

The Wormface will summon a Giant Rat and Giant Crab during the fight. Although your priority should be the main boss, these summoned enemies have a chance to drop Rejuvinating Boluses which increase your resistance to the deathblight status and is very helpful against the fight against Wormface.

Eating these boluses not only reduces deathblight build up, it also increases your resistance permanently for the rest of the run!
