You can play as a 3-man party in Elden Ring Nightreign. Learn how many players you can include in a squad and whether you can play the game with less than the max players.
How Many Players in a Party?
Max Squad Count is 3 Players Total
A full squad would be equal to a maximum of 3 players total. This means that with you included in the mix, you can play with 2 other players in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Will Elden Ring Nightreign Have Crossplay?
Can You Play Without a Full Squad?
You Can Play as a Solo Player
While the maximum player count in a squad is 3 players, you may choose to play the game solo if that is your preference. This would mean, however, that you'll tackle the challenges in Limveld alone rather than with the aid of two other players, which would make the runs more difficult due to its multiplayer-focused design.
A Duo Squad Is Unavailable
Unfortunately, a duo squad is unavailable. With the availability of solo play, this means that you can only play the game either alone or with two other friends.
However, a future update has been confirmed by a post from the official elden ring page on X stating that a duo matchmaking is set to release in a future update.
