What Does Magic Cocktail Do

Magic Cocktail is Recluse's skill that casts special spells after she has received three elemental residues. Learn what Magic Cocktail does, its different combos and how to execute them here!

What Does Magic Cocktail Do?

Collect Three Affinities for a Powerful Spell

Magic Cocktail is a skill that requires the Recluse to absorb three elemental affinities from elemental damage that enemies take. These can be either Fire, Lightning, Magic, and Holy.

After absorbing three charges, you can unleash a powerful spell. The spell you unleash will have varying effects depending on the elements that the Recluse was able to gather. These can range from either a lightning strike to an explosive ball of magic that deals huge damage to targets.

Teammates Can Help Apply Elements

Recluse Magic Cocktail Extra

Note that teammates can apply elements that can be gathered by the Recluse to ease the burden of looking for elemental spells when engaging targets. This helps the Recluse launch her regular magic attacks more.

Absorbing Elemental Affinities Recovers FP

Thanks to Recluse's Passive Ability Elemental Defense, she will recover FP whenever she absorbs an elemental afifnity. Use this to recover FP so you can keep casting spells.

For the best cocktails and spells, a mix of offensive and defensive options to allow the Recluse to commit to several actions is preferred, be it dealing damage or providing support. Homing Flame, Lightning Rode and Magic Blade all provide fast and highly-damaging spells that allow for Area-of-Effect (AoE) damage.

Aside from this, the Recluse can also apply Frozen Protection to oneself to be temporarily invulnerable to attacks or go for the spell that allows FP conservation as well as turret-based damage with Elemental Breath if targets are safe to engage while stationary.
