Recommended Level for Ancestor Spirit
| Recommended Level | Level 7 or 9 |

We recommend fighting the Ancestor Spirit at Level 7 for the Field Boss variant or Level 9 for the Castle variant with red eyes for a standard difficulty experience. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels.
Avoid the Blue Flames
The blue flames it breathes onto the ground are incredibly dangerous due to their high damage. It can begin breathing the blue fire onto the ground while walking or while airborne.
Melee characters should avoid standing in them entirely. If you're using melee, back off and wait for the flames to dissipate before going in to attack since being hit by the blue fire for more than a second can be fatal. Trying to attack in the flames isn't worth it even for tanky characters like Guardian and Raider, since the flames are still too damaging to linger in.
Ranged characters, on the other hand, can safely keep their distance and rain down attacks from outside the flames.
Be Ready to Dodge When It Jumps
When it starts double-jumping in the air, it's preparing for a diving attack. If you see it aiming in your direction, get ready to dodge to the side to avoid the high-damage slam.
How to Unlock Ancestor Spirit
Fought as a World Boss Around Limveld
The Ancestor Spirit can randomly be found as a World Boss around Limveld. These Bosses are revealed on the map on Day 2.
Fought as a Boss on the Castle Roof
A red-eyed, more powerful version of the Ancestor Spirit can sometimes appear as the boss on the Castle roof. This variant has increased HP, higher defense, and deals significantly more damage.
