Guardian's Remembrance Quest Walkthrough

| Chapters 1-3 | Initially available. Run expeditions to get memory fragments for unlocking Chapters 2-3 (beating a Night Lord is not required).
Defeat Gladius, Beast of Night. Defeating Gladius the Tricephalos unlocks Chapter 4. |
| Chapter 4 | ▼ First Remembrance Quest: Defeat the Cracked Golem and claim the Stone Stake in an expedition. Reward: Stone Stake (Relic) |
| Chapter 5 | Defeat another Night Lord successfully (can be a repeat fight of Tricephalos) to unlock Chapter 6. |
| Chapter 6 | ▼ Second Remembrance Quest: Complete objectives involving the Wandering Merchant in the Roundtable Hold. Reward: Guardian's Chalice |
| Chapter 7 | ▼ Third Remembrance Quest: Complete objectives involving buying the tome from the Demon Merchant in an expediton. Reward: Third Volume (Relic) |
| Chapter 8 | Unlocked at the conclusion of the Third Remembrance Quest. To unlock Chapter 9, you must have Revenant unlocked. If you can't progress, we recommend defeating a Nightlord such as the Night Aspect for a guaranteed Memory Fragment. |

Go on Expeditions and Defeat Gladius

| 1 |  To start Guardian's Remembrance quest, run expeditions as the Guardian until you get Memory Fragments to unlock Chapters 2-3 at the Journal in the Roundtable Hold. Early on, Memory Fragments are rewarded by chance on expeditions whether you fall in battle or defeat a Night Lord. ⓘ After each run as the Guardian, check your Journal to see which chapters are available. |
| 2 |  To get to Chapter 4 of the Guardian's Journal, succesfully complete a run defeating Gladius, Beast of Night, the first of the Night Lords. This will give you a Memory Fragment for Chapter 4. |
Chapter 4: Find the Stone Stake in Limveld

| 1 |  Check the Guardian's Journal and accept the Remembrance quest (this will take you to the Realm of Remembrances). Talk to the Iron Menial at the southwest library of the Roundtable Hold. |
| 2 |  Exhaust the dialogue of the Iron Menial until you are able to ask "about the cursed weapon". The Iron Menial will hint at items to obtain from the expedition. ⓘ If you have not pursued any other remembrances yet at this time, you will get a tip window about Personal Objectives. |
| 3 |  While in the Realm of the Remembrances, commence an expedition. Once on an expedition, open your map and note the marked (orange) location. Make your way to that spot. |
| 4 |  At the marked location, defeat the Cracked Golem to obtain the Stone Stake. You should get the Objective Achieved notification afterwards. |
| 5 |  After the expedition (completion not required), return to Iron Menial and exhaust his dialogue. He will give you the Second Volume key item. You are free to conclude the remembrance afterwards via the gateway beside him. You should be able to equip the Stone Stake as a Relic at this point! We recommend it for the Guardian due to its class-specific passive. |
Defeat Another Night Lord

| 1 |  To progress into the next remembrance for the Guardian (Chapter 6 page), complete a run by defeating another Night Lord. This will give you a Memory Fragment for Chapter 6. |
Chapter 6: Talk to the Ghost Wandering Merchant

| 1 |  Once you have made it to page 6 of the Guardian Remembrances, accept the remembrance and you will be taken to the Roundtable Hold main room. Head to the dressing room at the east of the Journal room. |
| 2 |  In the dressing room, talk to the ghostly Wandering Merchant. Exhaust his dialogue until he gives you the Eerie Charm. ⓘ At this point, you can proceed to the next objective. Talking to the Wandering Merchant again will have him open up his shop for Relics to sell (all 1-passive relics only). ⓘ Note that you will be locked out of this shop once you reach the Roundtable Hold main room. |
| 3 |  Head back to the main room of the Roundtable Hold, and then the Guardian will fall unconscious. You will awaken on your bed and will have a short conversation with both the Iron Menial and Recluse. |
| 4 |  Return to the ghostly Wandering Merchant again in the dressing room and talk to him. You will have two choices: 'Eliminate' or 'Leave alone'. ・Choose Eliminate to progress the Remembrance. ・Choosing Leave alone will give you the text 'I cannot ignore a danger to the flock' only loop you back to the prompt. |
| 5 |  Once you have chosen Eliminate, the Wandering Merchant will be slain. You will obtain the Merchant's Ledger and then a gateway to concluding the Remembrance will become available. |
| 6 |  After concluding this Chapter 6 Remembrance, you will automatically obtain the Guardian's Chalice for equipping a different color set of Relics. ⓘ The Guardian's Chalice is a great Relic-equipping item since it has a slot that allows you to equip 1 Relic of ANY color. ⓘ Guardian Chalice slots: Blue, Yellow, White (Any) |
Chapter 7: Buy Tome from Demon Merchant

| 1 |  At the Journal, accept the Chapter 7 remembrance for the Guardian. This will take you again to the main room of the Roundtable Hold. Head over to the Iron Menial |
| 2 |  Talking to the Iron Menial will have you show him the Merchant's Ledger to him. You will then get a Personal Objective to find the "demon merchant" (Scale-Bearing Merchant). Go on an expedition while this remembrance is active, then open your map and check for an orange marker. |
| 3 |  Accumulate 10,000 Runes, then head over to the marker. At this spot you will find the Scale-Bearing Merchant which will offer 4 things in exchange for certain conditions. The 1st, the tome option, will be fixed, while the other 3 offerings will be random. Pick "I want the tome" and pay 10,000 Runes to progress the remembrance. This will give you the Third Volume. |
| 4 |  Complete the expedition (you do not have to successfully beat a Night Lord) and then return to the Iron Menial. Talk to him and this will show him the tome. Afterwards, the remembrance can be concluded, setting the Guardian's Journal progress at Chapter 8. ⓘ Completing this remembrance will give you the Third Volume Relic for the Guardian. |
Chapter 9: Unlock Revenant and Talk to Recluse

| 1 |  To unlock Chapter 9, the Revenant must already be unlocked by defeating the Night Idol. If you have the Revenant and Chapter 9 is still not available, we recommend you successfully complete a run defeating a Nighlord such as the Night Aspect. |
| 2 |  Accept the remembrance for Chapter 9 at the Journal for the Guardian, then head over to the west library. Look for a book you can interact with to the northwest corner of the library. |
| 3 |  Afterwards, open your map and check the northwest side of the map for Recluse's position in the Garden. Head over to her and exhaust her dialogue, then choose any of the two options available when prompted (they will both lead to giving you the Witch's Brooch). |
| 4 | After the interaction with the Recluse, a gateway to conclude the remembrance should appear behind you. Conclude the remembrance and you will receive the Witch's Brooch.
ⓘ Completing this remembrance will give you the Witch's Brooch Relic for the Guardian. |
How to Unlock Guardian's Remembrances
Unlocked via Guardian's Journal Entries

| Chapter 5 | Made available as you complete the Chapter 4 remembrance involving the Stone Stake. |
| Chapter 6 | Unlocked after completing another run defeating a Nightlord as Guardian (this can be Tricephalos again or any other Night Lord). |
| Chapter 7 | Unlocked after completing the Chapter 6 remembrance involving objectives inside the Roundtable Hold. |
| Chapter 8 | Unlocked after completing the Chapter 7 remembrance involving the Demon Merchant. |
| Chapter 9 | Unlock the Revenant. Defeating the Night Aspect is recommended for getting the Memory Fragment if it's still not available. |
| Chapter 10 | Complete the Chapter 9 remembrance involving discovering a book in the west library and talking to the Recluse. |
In progressing the Guardian's Remembrances, you will first have to go on Expeditions as the Guardian. This will provide you with a Memory Fragment that is used for progressing Remembrances once you return to the Roundtable Hold.
Keep in mind that Memory Fragments have a chance of dropping after a failed run, while completing a run and defeating a Nightlord will 100% drop the Memory Fragment.

Guardian Remembrance Skin
The Guardian Remembrance skin becomes available after completing the fourth Remembrance quest. You can change outfits at any time by choosing the "Change Garb" option in the shortcut menu while in the Roundtable Hold.

you're probably filtering for large 3 tier relics only. It's a tier 2 so you'll have to change your filter option. It's what was happening to me.
