What Does Vigor Do?

Directly Influences Health Points

Vigor is the primary stat when it comes to health and survivability. An increase in this stat will mean an increase in the player's HP. This stat can be seen as the red bar on the upper left part of the screen.

Having more Vigor allows the player to tank more hits from an enemy. This can be translated to a tanky playstyle where a player goes to the frontline to try and protect the team.
