Elden Ring Nightreign

What Does Restage Do?

Elden Ring Nightrein - Restage Explained

Duchess' Restage skill allows you to deal additional damage to a recently attacked enemy in Elden Ring Nightreign. Read on to learn what the Restage skill does and how much damage it returns to the enemy when used.

What Does Restage Do?

Reinflicts 50% of Damage Recently Dealt

Duchess’ Restage is a character skill in Elden Ring Nightreign that reinflicts 50% of the most recent damage dealt to enemies, including from allies. It replays the last hit each target received within the past 2–3 seconds, making it a powerful follow-up after high-damage bursts or team attacks.

Use After a Damage Burst for Maximum Effect

The timing window for a successful Restage proc is very tight. If you wait too long (2+ or more seconds), Restage will fail to activate, causing you to miss out on its extra damage. It's best used as soon as you take away a huge chunk of enemy HP like when Bleed procs or your team gets a critical hit on an enemy.

Restage Does Reduced Damage

Restage deals 50% of the most recent damage an enemy received. For example, if the enemy took 85 damage, Restage deals 42, showing a clear drop from the initial amount.

Restage Works on Multiple Enemies

Restage works on multiple enemies, not just one, as long as the group of enemies were damaged within 2–3 seconds before casting.
