We recommend fighting Tree Sentinel and Royal Cavalrymen at Level 8 for a standard difficulty experience. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels.
Divide And Conquer
With the boss being three separate entities and the Tree Sentinel being bulkier than the other two, your biggest game plan is to have two of your party members fight off the Royal Cavalrymen while one stalls the Tree Sentinel.
Once the Royal Cavalrymen are down, the entire party can focus on overwhelming the Tree Sentinel with damage as he has plenty of downtime in his attacks.
Overwhelm With Status Effects
As with many bosses, Status Effects like Bleed are extremely effective to apply as it takes out massive chunks of their health pools. This can also be coupled with other status effects to make the process faster.
Use Ranged Attacks
Most of the boss attacks involve plenty of movement, especially from the Tree Sentinel. This makes utilizing ranged attacks and ranged classes such as Ironeye and Recluse good choices if an ally can draw aggro for them.
Additionally, a party can go further and choose to run two ranged units with one melee unit as that almost trivializes the fight provided that the one melee unit is able to survive for a time.
