Elden Ring Nightrein - Evergaol Location Guide
Challenge elite enemies and bosses in Evergaols to earn runes in Elden Ring Nightreign. Check out where the Evergaols are located, how to use them, what to do in Evergaols, and a list of Evergaol Bosses!

Evergaol Locations

Evergaols Have Fixed Locations

Evergaols Icon Ruins Location

Evergaol locations will always be fixed locations during every expedition. However, some may disappear due to Shifting Earth events that change huge swaths of the map.

However, do note that despite locations being fixed, Evergaol bosses are random. Returning to the same Evergaol in a different run may see you challenge a different boss than the one that spawned previous.

How to Use Evergaols

Use a Stonesword Key to Break the Seal

Stonesword Keys are used to unlock an Evergaol, releasing the captive boss monster for you to defeat. Stonesword Keys are obtained from chests (particularly chests in Great Churches and Forts) or purchased from Township Merchants (they aren't available from regular merchants).

How to Get Stonesword Keys

Low Chance of the Oldest Gaol Appearing

High Value Chest.png

The Oldest Gaol is the most difficult one, and defeating its boss will drop Golden Dormant Power orbs, where you can choose the 30,000 Runes of the Strong. In comparison, regular Evergaols offer only 10,000 to 20,000 runes in Dormant Power orbs.

How to Find the Oldest Gaol

What to Do in Evergaols?

Earn Up to 10,000~30,000 Runes by Defeating Enemies

Challenge Bosses

Bosses will spawn after using a Stonesword Key at the statue. You can earn up to 30,000 Runes if the Oldest Gaol appears, but it's usually only 10,000~20,000 runes from normal Evergaols.

A Site of Grace will appear in the center after defeating the boss, so don't hold back on using your flasks as they are automatically replenished after the fight.
