We recommend fighting Tibia Mariner at Level 8 for a standard difficulty experience. If you wish for a greater challenge, you may fight this boss at lower levels.
Bring Holy Weapons to Deal Massive Damage
The Tibia Mariner and Those Who Live in Death are all weak to Holy and takes increased damage from it, especially if you have weapons that can use sacred
weapon skills. If you're expecting to face this boss on one of your expeditions, be sure to bring along these weapons if you can find one.
Most of the undead only need one hit from a melee weapon imbued with Holy either via Sacred Order or Sacred Blade. On top of that, the imbuement also prevents the undead from reanimating back to life.
Clear Out the Undead First
During the fight, the Tibia Mariner basically does nothing and just teleports around so you can leave him for last and deal with Those Who Live in Death first. These mobs are actually dangerous so take your time clearing them out before going ham on the Tibia Mariner.
Those Who Live in Death consists of many undead mobs, be careful getting surrounded by them. Get out of the center and start clearing from the outside so you can deal with them one by one.

Fought as a Night Boss on Day 2
Tibia Mariner and Those Who Live in Death are a pair of bosses that appear at the end of the first or second night of an Expedition, particularly in the Equilibrious Beast expedition.
