The Death Knights are exclusive to The Forsaken Hollows DLC. You must own the DLC and have it installed to encounter this boss in an expedition.

Fought as a Night Boss on Night One
The Death Knights may be encountered as a Night One boss for the Dreglord expedition. The encounter begins with a wave of shielded knights, then a single Death Knight, and finally a battle against all three Death Knights.

Fight the Death Knights at Level 7 for a standard difficulty experience. They may be fought at lower levels for a tougher challenge.
Attacks Are Telegraphed by Lightning
Most attacks by the Death Knights are telegraphed by sparks of lightning, giving you a big window to react. Simply dodge to the side and counterattack.
Be careful, however, as they still have normal attacks, though these are less punishing.
Use Scholar's Ultimate
When playing as Scholar, save your ultimate for the three Death Knights to deal damage to all of them simultaneously.
If your allies time their ultimates with yours, the fight can even end before your ultimate expires!
Scholar Best Builds, Weapons, and Relics
Stagger with Heavy Weapons
The Death Knights can be easily staggered with heavy weapons and jump attacks, making them susceptible to Critical Hits.
