What are Talismans?

Equipment that Provides Buffs to Your Nightfarer

Aside from leveling up and getting passives from weapons, the only other way to buff your Nightfarer using equipment will be to equip Talismans. These small trinkets offer a myriad of buffs (and sometimes debuffs) that allow you to increase certain stats of your character, ranging from more attack power to better damage negation.

How to Get Talismans

Guaranteed Drop from Scarabs

Fighting Scarabs

Defeating scarabs guarantee a random talisman drop that only one from your team can pick up. Nearby scarab locations are revealed by interacting with the map inside Forts.

Random Drop from Enemies or Looted from Chests

As is typical of Nightreign, the only way to get Talismans is to randomly find them during an active Expedition. During a match, defeat enemies and bosses or loot chests in POIs to get a chance at a Talisman drop.
