Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Falx Location, Stats, and Scaling

Falx is a Curved Sword in Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree that scales with Strength and Dexterity. Read on to learn how to get the Falx, as well as its location, description, upgrades, stat requirements, and best Ashes of War.

Falx Location

Note: Falx is only available if you own the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Obtained by Defeating the Hornsent

There are three ways to obtain Falx, but they all require killing the Hornsent during his questline. We recommend getting Falx by defeating the Hornsent when he invades you at the Church of the Bud as this route yields the most rewards out of his questline.

Falx Locations
1 Leda and Hornsent summon signs in the Shadow Keep
The earliest you can get Falx is by assisting Leda against the Hornsent in the Shadow Keep. The signs can be found in the middle of the area with the burning boats and Shadow Militiamen.
2 Hornsent invasion at the Church of the Bud
If you summoned the Hornsent against Messmer, go to the Ruins of Rauh and he will invade you near the Church of the Bud. Defeat him here and he will drop Falx along with his armor set.
3 Hornsent dead in Enir-Ilim
If you didn't summon the Hornsent against Messmer, you will have to defeat him at Enir-Ilim along with Leda and the rest of her allies. You can pick up Falx from the Hornsent's corpse inside the chamber.
