How to Use Cord End

Used to Open a Secret Stone Door to the North of the Castle

If you have a Cord End, you can head over to the river running through the middle of the Castle and make your way to the northern side. In a shadowed alcove near the eastern cliff face, you'll find a sealed stone door that you can interact with. Use the Cord End in your inventory to open it.

Secret Location Contains 3 Sacrificial Twig Talismans

Sacrificial Twig Drops

Inside this secret location, you will find 3 Sacrificial Twig talismans. When equipped, players will not suffer Rune Loss or Level Down on death. However, do note that Sacrificial Twigs are one-time use only, meaning they can only save you from Rune Loss or Level Down once during an expedition.

How to Get Cord Ends

Very Rare Chance to Drop from Breakable Boxes in Churches

Cord End Drop

Cord Ends have a very rare chance to drop from breakable boxes you find in Churches. Given this item's reliance on luck to drop, Cord Ends (and their potential to net you Sacrificial Twigs) aren't really a priority to get since levels and equipment are more important in Days 1 and 2.
