The Hardest Sell is a Side Quest that can be unlocked during Chapter 4 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth). Read on to learn more about how to unlock The Hardest Sell, how to complete it, as well as the available rewards for completing the side quest.

How to Unlock The Hardest Sell
Complete the When Words Won't Do Side Quest
The Hardest Sell will become available after completing the When Words Won't Do side quest in Chapter 4, Junon Region. You can immediately start this quest upon arriving at Crow's Nest with Salmon.
When Words Won't Do Side Quest
How to Complete The Hardest Sell
- Follow Toby into Crow's Nest
- Head South to Abandoned Lighthouse
- Talk to Kyrie Inside the Lighthouse
- Defeat Army of Flans
- Defeat Two White Mousse Enemies
Follow Toby into Crow's Nest
Toby will be standing at the entrance to Crow's Nest upon reaching it for the first time. Head into the town and follow Toby until he stops walking. This is when the quest will officially begin.
Head South to Abandoned Lighthouse
Accept Toby's quest, then you'll be pointed towards the Abandoned Lighthouse south of Crow's Nest. Head down through the village, go out the south exit, and continue heading along the path southward.
Note that a Phoenix Sanctuary will be closeby immediately after exiting Crow's Nest.
Talk to Kyrie Inside the Lighthouse
Find Kyrie up the stairs of the lighthouse, which looks like an unfinished building. After your conversation, you will need to head back down and prepare for battle.
Defeat Army of Flans
Several waves of Flans will spawn one by one. Defeat all of the Flans with Fire spells, which can take them out instantly.
Defeat Two White Mousse Enemies
After taking care of the Flans, two difficult White Mousse enemies will appear. They don't have any weaknesses but will get Pressured when taking elemental damage.
The trick is to bring several elemental Materia with you and alternate your spells so it won't absorb any of them easily. This makes it easy to Pressure and Stagger them quickly.
Upon defeating the two White Mousse, the quest will end after a short cutscene.

Increase Favorability With Red XIII
Completing The Hardest Sell will also increase your friendship with Red XIII. This will affect the events that will occur when you visit the Gold Saucer later in the game.
Romance and Relationship Guide
Tale of the Red Warrior Vol. IX Dropped by White Mousse in Hard Mode
While playing in Hard Mode, defeating the two White Mousse enemies will reward you the Tale of the Red Warrior Vol. IX for Red XIII. You can access Hard Mode after completing your first playthrough of the game in any difficulty.
