FF7 Rebirth is expected to release locally at midnight! Please note that this countdown is currently set to the Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5) release.
Once the game is available, it may take a few minutes for it to unlock even after the official release time. Don't worry though! You will be able to play soon after release!

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth as the sequel to 2020's Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The game will be released on 2 Discs (for the Physical Edition) on February 29, 2024.
Once the game is preloaded on your console of choices, you will likely have it unlocked once the clock strikes midnight in your local region!
Note that changing the timezone on your system or console will not affect the release of the game! Release time will depend on the region of the store the game was purchased from.
Players with accounts from regions near the top of the following list are able to play the game earlier than those near the bottom.

Preorders for the physical and digital editions of FF7 Rebirth are now available. Head over to stores such as the Square Enix Store, Amazon, Best Buy, Walmartor at the PlayStation Store to preorder a copy.
Preorder Bonuses and How to Preorder
At launch, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be available for the PlayStation 5. There is no word yet on the game being available to other platforms, such as PC, although it could potentially be added later.
A first look of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was revealed in a trailer during the Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebration on June 17, 2022.
