How to Get the Bad Date

Keep Relationships with Other Party Members Low

All of your party members have relationship meters except for one: Cait Sith. Since Cid and Vincent aren't really part of your playable party, you can't improve your relationship with either one of them.

The best thing to do is to keep all your relationships low until both visits at the Gold Saucer occur, which is in Chapter 8 and Chapter 12. While in some cases, improving relationships with characters is inevitable, you can keep them at bay via the methods listed below.

Don't Do Side Quests

Every side quest in FF7 Rebirth apart from the very last one improves your relationship with one character. If you're looking to have them as your date in the Skywheel, this would be the thing to do.

However, to get the bad date, you need to do the exact opposite—avoid side quests to prevent improving any relationships and gaining favorability from any of your party members.

There will be times in the game where you get to converse with your teammates, and your relationships will improve based on the responses you choose.

To get the bad date, be sure to choose the worst dialogue responses to your teammates' queries. Alternatively, avoid talking to them at all.

Don't Use Synergy Skills or Abilities

Another thing that contributes to your character relationships is by using their Synergy Skills and Abilities for the first time. Hence, to get the bad date, you need to avoid using these skills as much as possible and rely on your own strength.
