FF7 Rebirth - Set Their Route - Which Direction Should You Set the Minecart Track

Check out which route you should set the minecart track in Chapter 7 of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth). Read on to learn what happens if you select either direction of the minecart path.

Which Direction Should You Set the Minecart Track?

Left For Barret, Right for Yuffie

Left Side Right Side
Your relationship with Barret has changed. Your relationship with Yuffie has changed.

During Chapter 7, Cloud will come across a lever that will change the direction of the Minecart Track. The lever's default direction is set to the left.

Keep the lever on the left side to increase your relationship with Barret. Pull the lever on the right side to increase your relationship with Yuffie. The decision is finalized once Cloud talks to Barret, Tifa, and Yuffie.

Romance and Relationship Guide

Does This Affect the Story?

Aside from the change in relationship, your choice of route will not affect the story and the group will catch up to Cloud either way.
